do you wear one of these then you may end up getting one of these i'm seeing a lot of patients who wear smart watches coming in with rashes on their wrists and most commonly it ends up being a fungal infection a contact dermatitis sometimes plain old skin irritation and the advice that i give to these patients is three-fold first loosen up these silicone straps you want more air circulation less moisture trapping and less skin friction second maybe you can replace your silicone strap with one that has holes in it for better circulation or better yet a fabric strap and finally after you're done exercising and your watch is all wet and sweaty take it off your wrist so your skin can stay happy and healthy and breathe better
