on the night of March 30th 2023 asog Gupta started experiencing pain in his stomach which gradually became unbearable was this a mere stomach pain they were only 90 minutes to save his life could the doctor save him coming [Music] upy I thought it may be because of my chemotherapy this March sh the pain was to the limit of restlessness on the night of March 30th 2023 suddenly the pain in his stomach and chest became unbearable the pain seemed Relentless and his restlessness was increasing he decided to go to the [Music] hospital I thought to call theit so I just quickly changed up took my car unaware of the fact that this is not merely an acidity or gastric attack he started to walk alone towards the hospital and he was just holding a bagp FES deit was astonished at how was Gupta in such a critical condition managed to reach halfway to the hospital I vividly remember it was um very busy in the night suddenly 65y old man walks in complaining of epigastric pain he was very uncomfortable I asked my nursing staff to take vitals and he was attached to the monitor ECG order Kia however the ECG results were not favorable in the ER Dr Misha promptly announced a code Mi Cod sty activated ground the Cardiology team was in the emergency room within minutes code Mi meant that the process of removing blockages from the patient's heart should commence within 90 minutes is muscle with half hour Hospital consent sign that they should go ahead the surgery they installed all the monitors time was scarce doctors needed to quickly complete the cath process during Ash gupta's angiography doctors used a special die to locate the blockage it revealed a 100% blockage in his LED artery and this blockage posed a threat to his life the doctors immediately performed angioplasty inserting a stent with a balloon into the blocked artery and inflating it to eliminate the blockage and restore normal blood flow the stent procedure was completed but the danger was not yet entirely averted now it was time to closely monitor asok gupta's recovery and wait 8 that 5H hour period was really [Music] tense we were informed surgery successfully and [Music] block we could feel a bit Rel surgery around for observation his blood sugar levels and blood pressure were not stabilizing continuous monitoring was essential Dr nyak was confident that Ashok gupta's recovery was on the right [Music] track so I was very much comfortable next day the doctor [Music] said hospitalar but I made up my mind [Music] yes and I am blessed with friends with lovely friends with helpful friends finally he fully recovered and his desire to live stred today he's actively engaged in Social Service and Publishing newspapers with great [Music] enthusiasm heart disease claims 3 million lives every year in India it has almost become like an epidemic it is not true that heart disease is the disease affecting the old retired people today good number of people who develop heart attack are the young bread winners of the family in my practice today it is not the young son bringing his old father for a heart operation it is the old father bringing the young son for a bypass grafting something needs to be done about it I suggest every Indian every adult Indian must must go for a preventive checkup at least once a year and if they find early coronat disease believe me it can the progression of the disease can be prevented or at least slowed down so it is very very important for early detection of the heart disease and also lifestyle modification by quitting cigarettes controlling diabetes blood pressure obesity and leading a very active Physically Active life thank you so [Music] much 11 old accidentally because after 6 hours the nerve cells the muscle cells start dying in the attempt to save the limb we should not be losing out on the life of the patient [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music]
