on empirical antibiotics prepared the Bloods after investigations what we will do is we'll inform the anesthesia and what yeah right now pulses and all are okay the Bloods are also arranged then if it is everything arranged then we will fast first will will shift him off now there was no room for delay Dr RI had already made all the arrangements so we were able to shift Charan probably within 20 to 30 minutes once he arrived in the emergency department already very less time so what we will do is we will divide it in a two team once the initial assessment was done patient was stabilized so then I'll fix the bone and give to you okay so I can further proceed this kind of situation what we do is fix the disabled or severe hand to the body with external Rings or rods but as he was a young child the bone was small we planned to put a rod inside the bone and then fix to the body when the proximal part is ready the so distal part you can come back and call me I'll fix it and you okay thank you can carry so once this was done the plastic surgeon repaired the further structures in the form of nerves blood vessels muscles skin and uh reconstruct the hand to the body in a case of a replant depending upon the time we uh from the injury to the time we reestablish the blood supply the more the time taken the more the toxins that get uh you know collected within the amputated part so once we replant and reestablish the blood supply these tox toxins get back into the system so as this time reaches 6 hours or goes beyond 6 hours the more the toxins accumulate in a larger quantity so the chances of the toxin affecting the other organs is higher entire team so entire surgery procedure was smooth there was no problem in while doing surgery the first thing we look at is the general condition of the patient uh how the urine output is how his lungs are functioning is there any you know increased heart rate is there fever all these things we keep a very strict watch on because finally in the attempt to save the limb we should not be losing out on the life of the patient so the first 5 days we are monitoring it very [Music] regly so how is the saturation saturation is everything is coming so when they'll just check the Doppler is a Doppler is fine then it will be okay the amputated part we monitor on an hourly basis which means that we see we make sure that there is no color change the limb is warm and if there are any early signs of show which show us that this can be going into failure we immediately take up the patient into the operation Theater Great thank okay [Music] C T they're very happy the way he showed his happiness was absolutely miraculous so we are also very happy by looking at the happiness of the father so the the father was very very happy when the parents was absolutely they very happy that after hearing that the hand has saved child's hand was restored he was it was functioning and at the end of The Rehabilitation uh he was almost recovered to his full functional hands as he was [Music] earlier 11% of the deaths across the world are due to accidents we see constantly accidents happenings on the road accidents happening at home and different different places and believe me most of these accidents are preventable if only the drivers are cautious if only people living in the houses are cautious in making house safer for especially elderly people large number of accidents can be prevented fine accidents can happen but there is one thing you can do to save the life when the accident happens the most common thing what happens is bleeding and if you rush to the hospital believe me they can stop the bleeding right away and if you have lost sufficient blood they can transfuse blood and maintain your blood pressure it
