hi everyone I am Dr nirmala consultant pulmonologist and allergy specialist and sleep medicine specialist from manipal hospital mesar so I know you will all be ready to celebrate your Diwali now so let us discuss about the harmful effects of crackers and the smoke created from them so if you are an allergy patient if you have asthma if you have bronchitis or if you have COPD there are certain harmful particles called hydrocarbons which will be produced from these crackers so these hydrocarbons will in turn affect your lungs it will cause bronos spasm and which will exacerbate your underlying asmatic disease also these smokes in turn will cause lot of Airway reactions in your bronchial Airway smooth muscles this will increase the thickness of the bronchial smooth muscle which in turn will cause persistent Airway abstraction which is the Len being bigger will become smaller and it will be and it will be very difficult for you guys to breathe so any person who is very allergic who have allergic t tendency to dust or who's a smoker who already has a chronic bronchitis or already has an asthma it is safe for you to stay away from crackers I hope this information was useful to you so please do reach out to me you can comment in the comment box if you have any doubts and please share this information with all your friends and family thank you everyone have a happy Diwali
