have you heard about Prince Harry's frostbitten penis I'm Dr Rena mellencurologist and pelvic surgeon and apparently in his recent Memoir Prince Harry describes getting frostbite on his penis after participating in a 200 mile walk in the North Pole for charity so typically when someone gets frostbite they feel a lot of numbness and tingling in the area and it can become quite painful in fact there are a few organs that we kind of talk about that are at risk for injury when you lose blood flow to those areas and that is penis fingers toes and nose if you are in the unfortunate situation of getting frostbite there are a few things you should know one is you don't want to rub the area to try to keep it warm you want to put it in a warm place so if it's like your fingers you can put it under your armpit and just hold it there you want to get out of the area that's freezing you want to make sure that's not going to re-freeze again and of course always seek medical attention as soon as possible
