[Music] I was uh on a ride to H humpy it's around 450 km from Bangalore while coming back I jumped into the tab badra River to swim there are rocks there and know Big Rocks which I started climbing on and uh I lost my footing and uh the whole weight came on to my this hand so The Rock was you know conical type so it got over stressed and this tendon came out of the bone from here and this muscle just snapped till here initially my I thought it's uh uh muscle dislocation just like a a joint dislocation happens but I didn't feel you know much pain I just felt little snap and after 2 3 days when the Bulch didn't come down I started getting worried so I went uh uh to see a doctor and he asked me to do MRI so when I went for MRI I came to know it's a you know uh bicep tendon rupture it's completely ruptured out of the bone then I started looking for you know what are the you know thing how can I bring it back to normal position so I came to manipal hospital and I met Dr Samar he already came to us with uh a few reports and MRI scan which said he had a complete rupture of the lower end of his biceps and then after thorough examination we advised him to undergo repair of this tone tendon after having explained the procedure in detail he understood uh the procedure and then we uh took him to the surgery on exploration we noticed that there was extensive retraction of this tone bicep tendon given the fact that he was a bodybuilder and his biceps muzzle Mass was too extensive as orthopedic surgeons along with the plastic team helped in retrieval of this tendon and we reattached it back to the native bone uh in the forearm following this his recovery was excellent uh he did all the physiotherapy exercises which we had advised him to do and we were quite cautious and slow with his Rehabilitation because of his pre-existing muzzle Mass however today 3 months after his uh surgery he is almost back to his routine activities he started doing lightweights in the gym he's regained back his uh lost muzzle M the end of the day it was a good decision to come to manipal hospital and fortunate enough to meet a a doctor like Dr Samar who you know gave me good explanation at the start while I was in the you know medication and post medication also he helped me lot to understand how I should go about things so right now I feel you know I am pretty much good enough and I don't uh you know even feel like I ever had this injury so I am you know good enough to do anything now
