hello everyone I'm Dr Vin Kumar gam consultant orthopedic and sports injury surgeon manipal hospital karadi today I will talk about you with the sports injury and about the sports injury complain usually a sports injury can be caused of because of the twisting injury Fall From Outer stage hand commonly joints involved is the ankle joint knee joint and shoulder joint in ankle it can cause ankle sprin that's something called atfl anterior tibo fibular liament sprain most of the time it needs brace rest icing and sometimes plaster application very rarely it can cause some kind of fracture that needs surgical intervention for any kind of knee injury it cause MCL acl ligament sprin PC ligament sprin in grade one two sprin needs some kind of brace rest icing and Physiotherapy in grade three that's complete tear of the ligament needs some kind of reconstruction or repair along with the any kind of miniscus injury for knee Rehabilitation we can do after 2 to 3 weeks in case of a sprin in case of surgery we can start after a week or 2 weeks for shoulder any kind of sports injury cause shoulder dislocation it can cause cuff tear it can cause bankard steer it can cause shouldering in shoulder we can use the arms sling pouch for the rest you can do the I spec application and sometimes needs X-ray and MRI scan in case of grade 2 grade three cuff tier that needs surgical intervention in bankard tier we can do orthoscopic that's just a keyhole procedure and for after that 3 to 4 weeks we can do the rehabilitation part that physiotherapy part and after that you can resume the activities normally and the sports maybe after that depends on the type of a spring thank you
