[Music] partial KNE replacement is replacing only part of the knee joint that's affected that can be either the inner side or the outer side however this is not done as commonly as a total knee replacement the reason being the risk of revision uh is much more in a partial knee replacement what happens is when we replace only part of the joint if the part is over stuff the unaffected side that's the other side of the the knee joint becomes over you know compressed and there's wear and tear in the normal side of the joint but however with a robotic partially replacement what happens is we we get CT scan of this patients understand the anatomy and the size of implants to be placed and the position in which each implant needs to be placed [Music]
